Hopkinsons Coach Company
History
During the early 1950s’ a coach service was developed to cater for the early days of Sydney’s inbound visitors. The coach company was known as Grayline of Australia and was affiliated with the world wide Grayline tour chain.
When the Hopkinsons' group purchased Merrylands Bus Company in 1978, the coach segment of the business was expanded to meet the growing need for quality coach travel from Sydney, both by local groups and overseas tourists.
In 1980, Hopkinsons' introduced the Hoppies Touring Club. It has now grown to a membership in excess of 1,000 local residents. Members enjoy a pre-planned yearly calendar of tours which are conducted over the year for their enjoyment. Each tour is hostess escorted and they range from day tours to weekends, extended tours and overseas holidays.
Hopkinsons' operate 5 stars Luxury Air Conditioned Coaches on these tours. We have A-Z day trips to choose from. Every tour can be adapted to suit your group’s requirements.
