All community responses are now being considered and a decision will be made about the future timetable for Route 803. Any changes will be advertised by signs in buses and on our web site. Details of the Consultation recently undertaken are shown below.
Route 803 Bus Service Review – What is proposed to change?
Following a review of patronage on Route 803 we propose to make the following changes:
- Route 803 will operate between Liverpool and Miller Shops, then around Miller in an anti-clockwise loop, then proceed back to Liverpool;
- Route 803 buses will operate along Cartwright Ave between Busby Rd and Miller Rd;
- Route 803 buses will operate along Willandra St, Banks Rd and Cabramatta Ave;
- Route 803 buses will no longer operate beyond Miller Rd to The Valley Plaza. Alternative travel options include Routes 802 and 804.
The objectives of the proposal are to:
- Provide bus services which are closer to residents living in or near to Cartwright Ave (east of Miller Rd), Willandra St, Banks Rd and Cabramatta Ave;
- Maintain the existing links by Route 804 between Miller Shops, Busby Rd and The Valley Plaza, and by Route 802 between Miller and Whitford Rd, passing Winnal Reserve near to The Valley Plaza.
There will be no change to the frequency of service on Route 803, which currently operates approximately every 30 minutes between 9.30am and 2.30pm Monday to Friday only.
There will be no change to the streets used by Routes 802 and 804, although new timetables will be issued which may contain some slight alterations to times.
